The practical details.

Why isn't everything free?+

Work that involves cloud compute, storage, or AI models runs on costly infrastructure. As a bootstrapped project, we can't offer those services entirely free, the costs have to be covered somewhere. Everything else, we keep free wherever possible: the cloud reference manager and rich document editors, among many other features.

How is usage measured?+

Credits meter model work, isolated analysis compute, transcription, and image analysis. On Plus and Pro, AI Sentence Completion and Equation AI are unlimited and do not use credits. Storage remains a separate plan quota.

Is there any feature difference between plans?+

Every plan gets the same features. Plus and Pro include unlimited AI Sentence Completion and Equation AI; on Free, those requests use credits. Plans also differ in their monthly credit allowance and storage quota.

What happens when I run out of usage?+

Beeblio uses monthly included credits first, then any extra credits automatically. New agent requests pause only when both balances are empty. Your projects, files, editing, exports, and sharing remain available while you wait for the monthly refresh or top up.

Does unused usage carry over?+

Your unused monthly credits remain available through renewal, when the included balance is brought back up to your plan allowance. Monthly credits do not stack above that allowance. Purchased extra credits are kept separately and never expire while your account exists.

How will my remaining credits appear?+

Beeblio shows your combined spendable balance as Credits Available in the Usage page. Under it, you can see exactly how much comes from this month's included credits and how much is non-expiring extra credit. We do not use a monthly percentage to represent your total balance.

Can I buy extra usage without subscribing?+

Top-ups are a paid-plan feature. They add a separate extra-credit balance that Beeblio uses only after your monthly included credits, and they never expire. If you're on Free and running out, Plus adds a renewable monthly allowance and 5 GB of storage.

Can I change plans later?+

Yes. Move between plans as your research needs change; your files, projects, and purchased usage come with you.

Can teams purchase Beeblio?+
